Preferred did an excellent job on a very difficult, complicated project. The original contract scope increased over 40%, however the completion date did not change due to college commitments. Contractor was flexible/knowledgeable in working with GC/owner to more efficient/economical engineering ideas. Superintendent was one of the best I’ve worked with in my 30 years of experience. He knew his scope of work, managed the excessive number of charges professionally and was able to coordinate his manpower in multiple working areas. Preferred worked as a team player in executing changes including coordination with other subcontractors. Contractor was the first sub to fully submit all close out documents including, as-builts. PLC looks forward to working with Preferred Contractors in the future.
