Andover Academy is one of the premier college prep schools in the country. Young men and women come from all over the world to learn on the historic campus in Andover, Massachusetts from some of the leading educators in their field. Preferred Mechanical assisted Andover Academy in the replacement of their aging ammonia refrigeration system for their two ice rinks with a modular chiller system that provides both reclaim heating and air conditioning for the facility. During the refrigeration system replacement, Preferred also constructed the 100,000+ sq. Ft athletic complex that adjoins the neighboring fields. Working closely with in house and subcontracted control contractors, the same refrigeration system within the ice arenas provides cooling and heating for the athletic complex throughout the academic year and for all summer programs in both facilities.
